Only on bookings that come through a Booko enquiry, on the final booking value, excluding VAT. We invoice the commission after the event date, and there’s nothing to pay if the booking didn’t go ahead.

When an organiser chooses your venue, you confirm the booking on Booko, or tell them the space has been taken. Your confirmation is the booking. As the event starts, we email you a secure link to our booking value form. Within 24 hours, enter the final booking value, or tell us it didn’t go ahead. You can attach your invoice to the organiser too. If we don’t hear from you in time, we invoice commission on an estimate based on your quote and the event details, payable within 7 days. Enter the final value later and we’ll credit or invoice the difference.

The rate that applied when the organiser’s enquiry reached you. Changing plan later doesn’t change commission on enquiries you’ve already received.

No. Organisers book and pay you directly, on your own terms. Booko only invoices venues for plan fees and commission.

Professional venues carry a Featured label and Premium venues a Featured Premium label. Both can move up among venues that match an organiser’s search equally well, Premium ahead of Professional. Payment never makes a venue appear for a search it doesn’t match, and never changes the facts we show. Paid placements are always labelled.

Yes. Paying for a year up front costs less than twelve monthly payments: £699 a year for Professional (26% less) and £1,999 a year for Premium (33% less).

No. Booko isn’t registered for VAT, so the prices shown are what you pay. If that changes, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice.

No. Each Booko account manages one venue, so a group with several venues uses a separate account, with a different email address, for each one. Each venue has its own plan and billing.

Yes, at any time from the venue portal. Your plan runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, then moves to Basic.
