A little help with your next gathering.

From the first idea to the venue’s reply, here are answers to the questions that can come up along the way.

Finding and saving spaces

Start with the occasion, area and number of guests. Add the atmosphere, food, drinks or practical details you need. You can refine your request as you explore.

Choose Shortlist in the navigation. Spaces saved in this browser stay there for your next visit; clearing browser storage can remove local saves.

We leave prices out of discovery cards when there is no useful figure to show. A listed minimum spend is a starting point, not a quote or confirmation of availability. Ask the venue to confirm terms for your event.

Enquiries and replies

Choose spaces from your shortlist, sign in and review your event details and selected venues. Approve the enquiry before sending. Sending is currently limited to venues enabled for the pilot.

Check your junk folder and the email address you entered, then request a fresh sign-in link. Open the most recent email. If you are still stuck, contact support below.

Open My Events to view your conversations and available replies. You can read the original email and attachments alongside any AI-assisted summary. Check the source before relying on a figure.

No. Choosing a venue lets you approve an introduction, which shares your name, email and optional phone number with that venue so it can reply to you directly. Agree availability, the booking, payments and cancellation terms directly with the venue.

Open your account from the navigation and choose Delete my account. We’ll close your open enquiries and tell the venues you’d contacted, then delete your account and email you to confirm. Venues you’ve been introduced to or booked aren’t contacted, so speak to them directly. You can also email support from the address you sign in with.

How Booko is paid for

Venues pay us, never organisers. A venue can choose a Professional or Premium listing plan, and pays commission on bookings it confirms came through Booko. Organisers always book and pay the venue directly.

The venue pays for a Professional or Premium listing. It can appear first among venues that match your search equally well, and a Premium venue can also appear first on collection pages it already belongs to. It never appears for a search it doesn’t match, and payment never changes the facts we show. See how we rank results on the How it works page.

Open the venue portal from the footer and sign in with your venue’s email address. If it’s one we’ve already checked, you can claim your listing straight away. Each account manages one venue, so use a different email address for each venue you run.
