Tell us what you’re planning. Booko finds the perfect space.
Booko is a venue-finding concierge for group dining, celebrations and private hire. You explain what you’re planning; we find the spaces, ask the venues the right questions and put the replies side by side.
Tell us what you’re planning
Tell us what you’re planning in your own words: the headcount, the area, the date or a flexible range, the atmosphere, the food and drink that matter. Booko turns that into a structured request and finds spaces that fit.
Every venue fact we show carries its source, so you can see where a capacity or a price came from and how confident we are in it.
Shortlist the spaces you like
Save spaces as you explore and compare them side by side. Your shortlist is saved in this browser, so it’s waiting when you come back on the same device.
Nothing is sent to a venue at this stage. Shortlisting is just your working list.
Ask Booko to contact the venues
Sign in with your email, confirm your event details, and choose which shortlisted venues to approach. Booko drafts a short summary of your request for you to check and edit, then sends one clear enquiry to each venue on your behalf, asking about availability, pricing, deposits, service charge, VAT and menus.
You approve the request once. We never send an email you haven’t asked for, and we never send to a venue you haven’t selected.
Replies arrive in one place
Venues reply by email straight into your Booko workspace. We verify each reply came from the venue we contacted before showing it, and we keep the original email and any attached menus or brochures for you to open.
An AI summary reads each reply and its attachments and pulls out the commercial terms so you can compare venues side by side. It is clearly labelled, and every figure links back to the source so you can check it.
Choose your venue
Choose your venue and review an introduction sharing your name, confirmed email and optional phone number. Once you approve it, the venue can reply directly to you. After your event, tell us how it went.
Booko doesn’t take bookings, payments or deposits from you. The agreement is between you and the venue, on the venue’s terms.
How we rank results
Results are ordered by how well each venue fits your request: capacity, area, catering rules, the requirements and filters you choose, and whether your search names the venue. The match percentage on each card is that fit, and it is never changed by payment.
Venues on Booko’s Professional and Premium plans pay a fee. When two venues match your request equally well, a paid venue is shown first, Premium ahead of Professional. Premium venues can also appear first on collection and tag pages, but only among venues that already belong there. Every one of these placements is labelled “Featured” or “Featured Premium”, which means the venue pays for its listing.
Paying never makes a venue appear for a search it doesn’t match, never changes the facts or sources we show, and never affects how we check a venue’s reply. Sorting by name or rating ignores paid plans entirely.
Common questions
Yes. Searching, shortlisting and asking Booko to contact venues is free for people planning an event. Booko is paid by venues: some choose a paid listing plan, and venues pay commission on bookings they confirm.
No. Booko finds spaces and handles the enquiry stage. Any booking, deposit or contract is agreed directly between you and the venue.
We only show replies that came back to the unique address we gave that venue, from the address we contacted, and that passed standard email authentication checks. The original email is always available to read.
It reads the venue’s reply and any attached PDFs or images and extracts the key terms into a consistent format, with a two-sentence summary. It can misread figures, which is why every value is marked, capped by our checks, and shown next to the source.
You can close one venue’s enquiry, or cancel a whole event search. Before an introduction, we notify venues that have replied; cancelling a whole search also tells venues we’ve emailed that they needn’t reply. After an introduction, closing is local only: contact the venue directly about any booking, hold or refund.
Your email address, event request and enquiry history are stored securely and used only to run your enquiries. Venues initially receive the summary you approved, your event details and a Booko reply address, not your original wording. Your name, email and optional phone number are shared only when you approve the introduction. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
