Asylum Chapel

A Grade II listed Georgian chapel built in 1826, damaged by bombing in the Second World War and subsequently restored. The interior retains its shell-like character with exposed brick and flaking plaster revealing layers of Victorian and earlier finishes in muted tones, concrete flooring and a pitched timber roof. Original stained glass windows and memorial plaques survive. The space suits ceremonies, receptions, performances and creative events, with wheelchair accessibility and adaptable configurations.
