The Grand Hall Suite
The Grand Hall Suite sits within a Grade II listed former town hall in Southwest London, a building that has anchored community life for more than 125 years. Originally Battersea Town Hall, it hosted suffragette meetings, the voting in of John Archer as the first Black mayor of a London borough, and galas supporting Titanic survivors. Guests arrive through a private entrance on Town Hall Road into the Octagonal Hall before moving into the Grand Hall itself for dinner, speeches, networking and entertainment. The space blends historic architecture with flexible event production. In-house event and production teams work with trusted catering and technical partners to support your event from enquiry through delivery. The building was saved from demolition fifty years ago when the community came together, and Battersea Arts Centre was born. Hiring here supports an independent charity and cultural organisation, with income directly funding year-round artistic and community programmes.
