Control Room A
Control Room A is a Grade II* listed Art Deco space that once powered 1930s London, distributing electricity to landmarks including Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. The room retains its beautifully restored control panels and switchboards in situ, a gold-coffered glass ceiling, teak parquet floors and original Art Deco finishings in grey Italian and black Belgian marble. Natural light filters through iconic industrial windows. The space adapts to standing receptions, seated dinners, theatre-style conferences, cabaret layouts and more. It has been featured in acclaimed productions including The King's Speech and Monty Python's Meaning of Life. A satellite kitchen, green room for storage or event office use, and Art Deco bathrooms support event delivery.
