Evans & Peel Detective Agency recreates a 1920s detective office through dark wood panelling, brass fittings and vintage glassware, all lit by low, warm candlelight. The layout comprises a compact ground-floor bar and a lower lounge designed for close conversation. Entry is theatrical: you ring a nondescript doorbell, present your case to a detective, then pass through a concealed bookcase door into the hidden bar. The venue operates as a fully equipped cocktail bar with trained mixologists and an original, bespoke cocktail menu. A small kitchen serves American-style bar food and canapé-style offerings. Live music, jazz and blues feature on selected nights. Technical facilities include PA and speakers, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. For private bookings, you may bring your own DJ or play your own music.
