Whole Venue
At weekends, when the pub is closed to the public, the whole of The Old Doctor Butler's Head can be hired exclusively, including the ground-floor bar, the first-floor dining room and the function room with its private bar.
The Old Doctor Butler's Head is one of the City of London's most historic pubs, established in 1610 down an alleyway off Masons Avenue in Moorgate, with the present building dating from just after the Great Fire of 1666. A Shepherd Neame pub near Guildhall, it serves cask ales, world wines and traditional pub classics in the bar, with more elegant seasonal cooking in the first-floor restaurant, and shows live sport. It is closed to the public at weekends, when the whole pub can be hired for private functions.
