RSA House, a Grade II* listed Georgian Townhouse in London’s W2. We have 11 unique and versatile event spaces to choose from, combining historical period features with modern and chic facilities including our funky brick exposed Vaults. We are also one of the only venues in London with the same façade as 10 Downing Street! The venue is home to The RSA (The Royal Society of Arts), a charitable organisation in London that consists of a global community of proactive problem solvers, uniting people and ideas to resolve the challenges of our time. By hosting an event with us, you will be directly contributing to charity and the three current programmes of work: Sustainability, Education and Learning and The Future of Work.

The Great Room is our jewel in the crown, accommodating up 80 guests cabaret style or 180 theatre style. The room is perfect for fine dining or awards accommodating up to 130 people. The room features high ceilings and a skylight which floods in natural daylight. Surrounding the room is the series of six paintings which are breathtakingly beautiful to witness in person. The room features built-in uplighters which can be changed to suit a colour of your choice, a built-in stage and audio visual equipment. A fun fact about this room: The Great Room played host to one of the first telephone demonstrations by Sir Alexander Bell.

The Durham Street Auditorium at RSA House

The Durham Street Auditorium is a purpose built theatre ideal for screenings, conferences and meetings. The DSA was built on the last remaining stretch of 18th century cobbled roadway which was part of a tunnel beneath the House leading down to the Thames. The Auditorium itself seats 60 guests on the fixed cinema style seating and features built-in audio visual equipment, with an additional 10 chairs at the back of the room to make 70 in total

Originally river-front warehouses, the Vaults display exposed 18th century brickwork, offering a striking contrast to the splendour of the rooms above. There are 4 Vaults at RSA House with 2 - 4 interconnecting providing a great backdrop for parties, dinners and product launches; and the larger Vault 1 ideal for dinners and drinks receptions or to provide that "chill out" space when using the rest of the Vaults. There is a separate entrance on Durham Street available for events in the Vaults and provides a more exclusive feel to any event.

Benjamin Franklin Room is a function room in RSA House distinguished by a decorative marble fireplace. The Shipley Room is a first floor, classically decorated room with a beautiful Adam ceiling and a Regency chandelier. Originally the main reception room of number 4 John Adam Street, this room now commemorates the Society's founder and Secretary from 1754 - 1757, William Shipley. There is a linking door to the Drawing Room for holding pre-event drinks or for catering during boardroom meetings.
