Nave
The Nave is the church's Hawksmoor-designed baroque interior, defined by high classical proportions and a clear central axis. It features a barrel-vaulted ceiling, classical columns and pale plasterwork over a stone floor, with a strong central aisle that terminates at a stained-glass window above the altar. Continuous raised timber galleries run along both sides, creating elevated circulation and viewing lines. Tall arched windows supply natural daylight. A PA system and speakers are installed, and you may play your own music or bring a DJ, subject to noise restrictions enforced by the venue. Wi-Fi is provided. The space suits groups seeking a formal, front-facing seated layout that highlights architectural detail and a clear presentation axis. Guests note the historic and impressive character, with preserved timber and stone surfaces conveying authentic period detail. The space is quiet and well maintained.
