Balcony Room
The Balcony Room sits on the penthouse level with floor-to-ceiling French doors opening onto a private balcony overlooking the River Thames, St Paul's Cathedral and the London skyline. The room is dressed in elegant green panelled walls and lit by a statement chandelier crafted from 1,200 glass cylinders. A long wooden table, handmade from an oak tree that fell in the Great Storm of 1987, anchors the space and suits board meetings and private dinners alike. Twenty prints of Henri Matisse's Jazz line the walls, originally intended as covers for the French art magazine Verve and inspired by the circus and theatre. The room has its own private bar and cloakroom, lift access and abundant natural light, making it equally suited to lavish dinners, standing receptions and daytime meetings.
