The Brewery

The Brewery is a Grade II listed event venue on Chiswell Street in the City of London, occupying the 18th-century buildings of Whitbread's brewery. Seven rooms range from The Porter Tun, one of London's largest pillar-free historic spaces, and the King George III and Queen Charlotte rooms to the more intimate Sugar Rooms, Smeaton Vaults, James Watt and Grubstreet Cellars, with a cobbled courtyard used for summer parties. It hosts conferences, awards dinners, exhibitions, product launches, weddings and Christmas and summer parties for 30 to 1,600 guests, with in-house catering and AV.

Queen Charlotte works as a standalone room or pairs with King George III for larger events. An exposed King Post timber roof spans 60 feet above a 778 square metre antique wooden floor, creating a pillar-free interior suited to conferences, awards dinners, fashion shows and exhibitions. The room has a state-of-the-art sound system, Wifi, and fully integrated LED lighting, with natural daylight and air conditioning throughout. The Malt Room can be booked as a green room.
