It hires out the triple-height Atrium (up to 300 seated or 800 standing across the levels), the Helene and Johannes Huth Gallery, the 202-seat Bakala Auditorium, the Sachs Family Park Room, the Chumsri and Luqman Lounge, meeting rooms and outdoor spaces for conferences, awards ceremonies, dinners, receptions, launches and weddings, with in-house catering by Lexington.

The Atrium is the triple-height heart of the Design Museum, under the original hyperbolic paraboloid roof, for receptions, dinners, awards ceremonies and brand activations. It seats up to 150 at round tables or 300 at long tables, and holds 270 standing on the ground floor or 800 including the upper levels; it can be combined with the Bakala Auditorium or a private exhibition view.
