The Engine Rooms

The Engine Rooms adjoin one of Europe's largest collections of classic cars, part of the Hexagon Classics showroom complex founded by Paul Michaels in 1963. Event spaces were added in 2021, offering contemporary interiors that work as a blank canvas for corporate gatherings and private celebrations. The rooms connect flexibly, allowing guests to move between intimate dining spaces, meeting rooms and a striking industrial showroom, with an outdoor courtyard at the heart linking them together.

Set it up as a drinks reception, DJ area, dining space or simply a place to sit in summer months. In colder weather, heaters, blankets and a terrace roof provide cover.

The Showroom at The Engine Rooms Events Space

1 / 2

The Showroom usually displays around 70 classic cars, but can be fully cleared and transformed into a striking contemporary venue. A high industrial roofline with exposed steel trusses and broad skylights sits above dark-painted brick walls and polished concrete floors, creating a restrained, gallery-like appearance. Automotive art across the space, including old oil cans and a large wooden sculpture of a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, adds unique character. The room includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a dancefloor area, and permits your own music and external DJs. It suits everything from seated dinners and award ceremonies to weddings, large parties, fashion shows and product launches.
