The Selkirk

The Crusoe Room is a function space with a broad polished timber floor, high ceilings and deep navy walls punctuated by a white picture rail and industrial pendant lights. Large multi-pane windows bring in strong daylight and clear sightlines. The uncluttered layout allows you to bring your own furniture or temporary staging, and plain walls accommodate projection or displays. A built-in PA system and permission to bring an external DJ make it suitable for amplified music and dancing. Wi-Fi and overhead lighting are provided, along with visible radiator heating for daytime and evening use. The room has been used for life-drawing classes and community workshops, making it practical for both seated and standing social gatherings.
