The Shaw Theatre

Since opening in 1971, the Shaw Theatre has hosted drama, dance, musical theatre and concerts. The space suits performances ranging from classical ballet to stand-up comedy and musicals, and works equally well for photo shoots, filming, rehearsed readings, workshops and auditions. The stage measures 9.5m by 12m with generously sized wings for transitions, and four dressing rooms are available, with additional rooms available for larger casts. The venue is equipped with high-spec sound systems and advanced lighting rigs. Accessible seating and facilities are provided for guests with mobility needs. A Duty Manager oversees the event, Front of House staff attend to guests, and a Duty Technician provides technical support throughout.
