The Livery Hall
The Livery Hall is the centrepiece of this Grade I listed building, embodying the venue's wine-trade heritage through ceremonial interior fittings. Tall proportions, dark carved wood panelling, gilt frames and high crystal chandeliers establish a formal, institutional character. Tall mullioned windows and traditional portraiture line the walls. The hall connects to smaller rooms including the Drawing Room and Boardroom, and is supported by staffed event coordinators and in-house catering. The building offers Wi-Fi, air conditioning, natural daylight, step-free access and accessible toilets. Beneath the hall lies a historic subterranean Red Cellar that remains in active use for wine storage, an intact functional feature that sets the venue apart. The space suits established organisations and professional groups seeking a formal seated banquet or polished standing reception in a historic setting.
